     We are currently looking for a highly skilled and creative Full Stack Engineer to join our team in our new brand offices in Renens – Lausanne Area.

    In this role, you will be able to create and develop web applications, to help build and scale our cloud-based SaaS platform. You will work closely with algorithm engineers to expose advanced machine learning algorithms through a performant, intuitive, and robust user interface and API infrastructure.     YOUR MISSION

    • Migrate our React/Flask prototype to a scalable production stack

    • Design, implement, and maintain core features of our SaaS platform

    • Collaborate with algorithm engineers to define data exchange formats, interface contracts, and model deployment flows. And work with the product team to define and implement intuitive UX.

    • Develop robust RESTful APIs to serve client applications and support integration with internal and external tools and systems.

    • Contribute to frontend architecture with a focus on scalability, UX performance, and maintainability.

    • Design and manage relational databases and data pipelines for model inputs/outputs, user data, and job execution.

    • Ensure robust system behavior via automated tests, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.

    • Monitor and improve performance, reliability, and security of production systems.

    • Participate in roadmap planning, design reviews, and agile sprints alongside product and algorithm teams.

    YOUR PROFILE

    • MSc or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

    • 3+ years of experience developing production-grade fullstack web applications.

    • Strong proficiency in React (with TypeScript), Node.js and python web frameworks (like Flask or Django).

    • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

    • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture (component-driven, state management, etc.).

    • Strong backend fundamentals including routing, authentication, background processing, and SQL database design.

    • Working knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and deploying applications to cloud infrastructure.

    • Familiarity with testing strategies and frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Jest, React Testing Library).

    • Previous experience in building or scaling SaaS platforms.

    • Exposure to data privacy, GDPR, or handling sensitive customer datasets.

    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD), observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Sentry).

    • Excellent communication skills, autonomy, and collaborative mindset.

    In this role, you will join the team responsible for designing an innovative and space-efficient indoor plant-growing system. Your main responsibility will be to help transition the current design into the production phase. You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver outcomes that align with our innovation-driven and sustainable approach.

    YOUR MISSION

    • Preparation of technical drawings, assembly plans and comprehensive documentation to support the transition of the product into the production phase.

    • Lead the mechanical design of the product, including complex assemblies, water management systems, sealing mechanisms, and bench testing setups.

    • Contribute across various stages of product development by offering technical insights and proposing effective solutions to overcome engineering challenges.

    • Build, test, and iterate on functional prototypes to meet performance and design requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.

    • Source components and manufacturing services, leveraging both internal capabilities and external suppliers to support prototype construction.

    • Identify necessary certifications and coordinate internal or third-party pre-certification testing.

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including industrial design, supply chain, and engineering, to ensure product development goals are met.

    YOUR PROFILE

    •  Experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years in fast-paced startup and early-stage environments.

    • Proven experience in drafting detailed specification plans for product development and manufacturing.

    • Experience in design for injection-molded plastic part production.

    • Skilled in managing product lifecycle, from concept and industrial design through to production.

    • Proficient in industry-standard CAD tools including Onshape, SolidWorks, and CATIA.

    • Strong background in rapid prototyping using 3D printing, building experimental setups.

    • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset and fluent in English.

    We are seeking a highly motivated Optoelectronics Engineer to join our product development team in our offices in Ecublens – Lausanne Area.

    In this role, you will be engineering high-performance optoelectronic components for the next generation display technology, a new type of display with low power consumption for healthier usage.     YOUR MISSION

    • Develop visible light-transparent, near infrared light-responsive photodiodes and optimize their optoelectronic performance, including transparency, photoresponsivity, stability, etc.

    • Modify the physical and chemical properties of the transparent photodiodes and identify the relevant processing flows to allow integration with the display devices developed in-house at Freshape.

    • Collaborate with other team members to develop transparent information display devices with fast response and high contrast.

    • Contribute to component assessment and device engineering for potential mass production.

    YOUR PROFILE

    • Ph.D. degree in organic semiconductors with background in light-absorbing electronic devices such as organic photovoltaics and organic photodetectors

    • Knowledge and experience in gain-type photodiodes is a plus

    • Proficient in thin film deposition including solution process, vacuum deposition, etc

    • Knowledge and know-how in optoelectronic device characterizations and analysis, including optical characterizations, photoelectric characterizations, etc

    • Strong literature and patent searching ability

    • Spirit of teamwork

    In this role, you’ll develop and execute IP strategies to protect innovations, manage patent portfolios, and collaborate with teams, users, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with global IP regulations and support innovation efforts.

    YOUR MISSION

    • Conduct patent searches and manage applications, trademarks, and copyrights for new products and technologies.

    • Support in drafting and filing of utility and design patents as well as trademark protection.

    • Develop and maintain a strategic patent portfolio.

    • Build and analyze patent maps while monitoring competitor IP activity to identify risks and opportunities.

    • Ensure compliance with global IP regulations, perform freedom to operate checks, and provide guidance on licensing and technology agreements.

    • Educate teams on IP processes and best practices and mitigate IP risks in product development.

    YOUR PROFILE

    • BSc or MSc degree in Science, Engineering, Law, Intellectual Property Management, or a related field

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in patent searching, filing, and managing intellectual property portfolios

    • In-depth knowledge of global IP regulations, patent laws, and processes, including licensing and technology transfer

    • Proficiency in using patent databases (e.g., Espacenet, USPTO, WIPO) and IP management tools

    • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as product management and design

    • Proven ability to engage with external stakeholders or users, with a focus on innovation and IP strategy

    • Previous experience in the renewable energy domain or consumer electronics is a plus

    • Product management mindset, with the ability to align IP strategies with business objectives

    In this role, you will help drive the evolution of our multi-application environment and act as a key technical liaison with subcontractors and our newly forming development team in China. Moreover, you will be responsible for refactoring legacy systems, delivering new features from concept to production, and leading code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensure reliable delivery.

    YOUR MISSION

    • Challenge architectural and technological decisions from both software and CI/CD sides.

    • Translate product specs into technical tickets, flagging risk/cost early.
